im pretty sure they either became catholic or irish and so lost their subjugation or invasion CB. I tried checking the old save file but its so old at this point its completely uncompatible and wont even load up. I survived a game where i started as duke leofwine in england wound up inheriting several duchies across spain france and southern england and was able to be allied with so many different rulers that when they landed in galicia i was able to repel their first army with some trouble and their second army landed in ireland and never really left.
